THE ROOMS

We have two double rooms and a twin room, which has one double and one single bed. Our rooms are simple in decor, but provide quality where it matters for a good night's sleep. We have good mattresses, down pillows and duvets, with Egyptian cotton bedlinen. All rooms have tea and coffee trays.

Bedroom 1 is at the front, a large room with a double bed. It also has a sofa, DVD player CD radio and tea and coffee tray. It has an ensuite bathroom with a great powerful shower.

Bedroom 1 price throughout 2010 is £60 per room per night for 2 people.*

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a washbasin, a CD Radio, and shares the adjacent large bathroom with bath, shower and plenty of drying space, with room 3.

Bedroom 2 price throughout 2010 is £50 per room per night for 2 people.*

Room 3 has one double and one single bed, CD/Radio, washbasin. ( Note the double is positioned against the wall due to the shape of the room.) Bathroom is shared with room 2.

Bedroom 3 price throughout 2010 is £50 per room per night for 2 people.*

We have secure bike storage and can offer a hosepipe, and basic spare parts for mountain bikes. Bike hire can be arranged if booked in advance. We can advise on the best routes for walking and biking, and lend you waterproof maps. We can help dry wet gear, and provide packed lunch and hot flask.

Sorry but we cant take dogs.

We also provide hairdryers, reading and reference books in the rooms. We provide evening meals on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but if the cafe is closed,it is available to guests to use as a lounge in the evening. You can also use the cafe for take-away meals in the evening if you like. There are good pizzas, fish and chips and curry within 5 minutes walk.

There are several options in town for evening meals - we can point you in the right direction.

Price: Rooms rates listed above. Single rates from £30 to £50 depending on room/season.

* Room prices include a substantial continental breakfast. (coffee or tea, fruit juice, toast and cereal with fruit and yoghurt, croissants) Full cooked breakfast with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausage and beans is £3 per person extra. Veggie breakfast also available.
